Christmas morning, the kids were so good at waiting for me to get ready for the day before we opened some presents and took off to Greg's parents house. They acted like it was any other day and went straight from our bedroom to the kitchen wanting to eat breakfast. They saw that Santa drank their "Yummy" concoction of milk and multiple syrups and ate their cookies. 
Evan's first opened gift was Stinky the Garbage Truck; which he had been wanting since this past Summer/Fall. Leah's reaction to her first gift was hilarious. Before I could give her a My Little Pony or Little Mermaid wrapped present, she opened up a pack of undies. How EXCITING;)
But she let out a big giggle and shouted, "I GOT PRINCESS UNDERWEAR!" She was just as excited to get underwear as Evan was about getting Stinky the Garbage Truck!
We let them open a couple more gifts and said our goodbyes to Mandy, Mike and Cora and headed off to Greg's parent's house. Some extended family was in town; which we only see once in a couple of years, so it was so nice to visit with them.
The Rau family was excited to have another baby around this year. My sister-in law and her husband had Lily in November. We missed them at Thanksgiving, but were all very happy they attended the Christmas gathering!
