Brotherly love

Yes, the kids are in their diapers (AGAIN) in this video. They love to be in their diapers between dinner and getting ready for bed. As I was cleaning up the kitchen, I had to run and get the camera. Evan decided he wanted to give Leah a hug and she kept moving away from him. (His hugs consist of just leaning his head towards yours). I thought this was just too precious and funny at the same time. Even though he has a temper at times, as many of you know, he can be quite sweet and loving!

Superbowl

Greg's parents had us over to watch the Superbowl game this evening. Leah sported her RAMS outfit. No jersey for Evan, just comfortable sweatpants and sweatshirt with a football helmet on it.

Grandpa Jim and babies
Aunt Sarah got out her poms from her high school cheerleading days and let Leah play with them. (She's going to take after Mommy, Aunt Mandy and Aunt Sarah....pommer/cheerleader).

Cutie Pie Game? What Game? I have toys!

It was a relaxing evening. We enjoyed the game, commercials, the pizza, snacks, beer and watching Evan, Leah and their "cousin" Walter/Wrangler (such a good doggie).

My Grandparents' 60th

I know this blog says, "Rau Family," but I wanted to write about my paternal grandparents who celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary today. They are very involved in their church and have always wanted the extended family to attend their church together. So, we surprised them today with the majority of the family being able to attend. We all waited by the door for them to arrive and as they entered, they both bursted into tears. (My Grandpa is a huge softy and had tears in his eyes the majority of the church service-so cute). My grandma commented on how she has waited SO long to have the family all attend church with her and my grandpa!
The service was followed by a luncheon and a slide show of their many years together. Here are some photos from the celebration. Congratulations to my grandparents!!
