Tight fit

I have to preface this entry by saying, I know my kids are only in their diapers in this video as they are in the majority of videos. However; they had just had their bath and we were getting ready to put p.j.'s on them, when we saw this...

After I turned the camera off, Evan really got mad and started crying. So, I took him into our master bathroom and let him crawl into his favorite spot in there....under Greg's sink and that seemed to satisfy Evan's needs!

Spotless

Leah has become my helping hand in cleaning the house. I can't wait till she is older and can really help clean. Although, by then, she will probably complain that she has to. This video is actually from a couple of weeks ago.

Leah aboard her ship..."Ahoy Mate!"
I am just now posting pictures from a wondeful playdate I had a couple of weeks ago with the kids and some of my friends from high school and their kids. We went to the Museum of Transportation instead of the usual playdate at one of our houses. We all had such fun! Evan and Leah loved climbing on the HUGE ship made of wood, enjoyed listening to storytime, and playing with kitchen items and cars/trains/etc. We were not able to ride the train that day due to rain, but we went back the following week and were able to ride the train, but not able to do the play session indoors because they were sold out of tickets. Evan was VERY hesitant going on the train and tried very hard to wiggle out of my arms, but once the train got going, he had a great time. If you haven't been to the Museum of Transportation, it's a must! Trying to get Greg to go this Friday!

Outside entertainment

This weekend, the kids had alot of outside entertainment. They played in their new little house (garage sale purchase!), in their pool, with their new kitchen set (inside toy- garage sale purchase!) and with a cute little dog (no..not a real one, a sprinkler). They absolutely love playing with their new toys. They played in their kitchen this morning for about an hour. I think this kitchen is going to bring some "Mommy can be by herself and not have anyone hanging on her" time. However; with Evan and Leah, of course they are going to fight over the same piece of play lettuce/cupcake/whatever the toy may be, even if there are other pieces just like it laying right next to them. So, in that aspect, I probably won't have too much time to myself. It's so fun to watch them pretend in the kitchen! I can't wait till they are old enough to actually help me bake and cook in my kitchen.

Their new dog sprinkler is so cute. Nana and Papa decided to drop it off last night (it was a purchase from their recent vacation). The dogs' head goes side to side and the water comes out of the dog collar. Although, after about 45 minutes of the head swinging side to side, the dog was tired and quit working.

They played in their little house for quite awhile and love to have Greg or I come in with them.

Our Fun Weekend

We had a fun-filled weekend with the kids. To kick off our weekend, we actually got Leah to ride in the wagon again. For those of you who were not informed, I have been having trouble with Leah riding in carseats, carts, strollers, and the wagon (which she use to LOVE). So, for the past 4 weeks, I have not taken the kids on a walk in the wagon. We finally got her to ride in it this weekend. I don't know why all of a sudden she will go back in the wagon. Hmmm.
FYI- Greg and I rented "Taken" on Friday night. It's definitely a MUST see movie.
Saturday was beautiful. We filled the kids little pool and enjoyed the sunshine. Greg BBQ'd an AWESOME pork tenderloin along with some veggies and then we took the kids to Fritz's. Of course, they loved it and fussed when we left. We also took the kids to the Renaud Spirit Center's indoor water park this weekend. The kids were a little apprehensive when we walked into the pool area, but as soon as they set foot in the water, they were very happy to be there. As you can see in the slideshow, the kids love to fill anything with water and dump it. They were so funny with their buckets. After a nap and then some more playing outside and a wagon ride, we enjoyed some popsicles. What a great weekend.

I love you

Every once in awhile, the kids can't get enough of hugging one another. They were giggling so hard while trying to hug one another, I was was almost in tears! I told them, "Hold on, Mommy needs to go get the camera." Of course, Evan followed me in the other room where the camera was and I thought the moment was gone, but I ran back in the kitchen and asked for them to give more hugs. They both ran right back in the same spot and started giving one another hugs again. It was too cute.

Too Cute

Sunday I attended my cousin's high school graduation party at Laurel Park. Evan and Leah had such a great time visiting with family and playing at the park. I had to post a couple of pictures of the kids because I thought they were just too cute.
