Last Thurs. night was my night out with the girls. I had just gotten to the end of our street when my phone rang. It was Greg calling to tell me that Leah had just taken 5 steps by herself. I missed it! We always thought I would be the one to see it happen first since I was at home with her, but Daddy got to witness our baby girl trying to walk for the first time. We did not get this momentous occasion on tape the first time.
However; here is a little clip I captured tonight of Leah trying to walk on her own.

Yaaaa Leah!!! You're such a big girl!!! While I'm sad that your mommy had to miss your walking debute I'm selfishly glad that I had her all to myself for our girls night!!
